Mina has spent 16 years of her professional career in the Public Sector having worked as a Chartered Surveyor in local Government for 7 years then in HM Treasury Office of Government Commerce where she was a Senior Property Advisor the HMT Spending teams; part of the Gershon Efficiency team; a lecturer at the National School of Government and a Prospect Union Rep for 9 years.

Background

As well as working in the Public Sector, in her 20 year surveying career Mina has also held roles in industry including, British Rail Property Board and in the private sector, in Barclays Property Holdings and more recently as an Associate Partner in the Strategic Consulting Team at Drivers Jonas Deloitte.

Apart from being a Chartered Surveyor, Mina is a professionally qualified certified NLP Coach and NLP Accredited, Practitioner, Timeline Therapy Practitioner and certified Hypnotherapist. She specialises in Executive performance and business coaching and is a trainer and mentor.

Mina combines her professional background as a Civil Servant, a Chartered Surveyor and as a Management Consultant with a wealth of practical coaching and mentoring techniques and experience to help individuals make substantial change.

She brings an abundance of experience in senior, leadership and people development roles to her work as an Executive Performance Coach. Her approach is multi-disciplinary and uses a unique mix of skills and capabilities and experience of corporate life to work with other professionals and senior decision makers to maximise their potential and performance.

Mike has over nearly 14 years’ experience working with individuals, teams and organisations in the Public and Private sectors. His Public Sector clients include a number of NHS PCTs, the Wales Audit Office and the Health & Safety Executive. His Private Sector Clients include a host of ‘blue-chip’ companies including BP, Asda, Honda, BOC, Balfour Beatty, BAA – on the London Heathrow Terminal 5 Project – and many organisations in the publishing sector. He specialises in executive coaching and high performance coaching in all sectors, as well as coaching middle to senior ranking executives in successful career transition. As a business consultant and executive coach, he was part of the team that won the Queen’s Award for Industry in International Trade in 2004.

Background

Prior to his coaching and consulting career, he had a highly successful career in book publishing both in the UK and internationally. He has sold, marketed or published some of the leading authors of the last 20 years including John le Carre, Stephen King, Jeffrey Archer, Melvyn Bragg and Delia Smith – as well as being the Publisher for the internationally renowned Teach Yourself series.

He is a fully accredited NLP Practitioner, and Performance and Executive Coach, with thousands of hours experience, in addition to being a Best Year Yet partner and programme leader. His experience in career transition includes individuals successfully moving to different sectors, starting their own business, as well as career progression. He is very conversant with the impact of change within organisations, especially where redundancies are involved, helping those individuals who are experiencing voluntary and involuntary redundancy – and those who remain in the organisation with the challenges they face and how they
can overcome them. He has also coached authors who have written books on redundancy.

Coaching Approach

Mike combines his extensive senior management experience with that of being a business consultant and executive coach to generate a positive, measureable impact with those individuals and teams he works with. He has a wealth of experience in senior, leadership and people development roles, across both public and private sectors, and he uses a wide range of practical techniques and exercises to build a strong relationship based on mutual trust. From this base, he then generates a bespoke and tailored approach when working with clients to help them generate substantial and positive change in their work lives. His experience of corporate life both in the UK and internationally provides clients with an abundance of insights, whilst keeping the focus very much on the individual’s requirements.

As an Executive and Performance Coach, he works with senior decision makers and their teams to maximise both their own performance and their own fulfilment in the roles they have. He does this by helping them to clarify and achieve their vision, purpose and ambitions and aligning these with the team and organisation they work in or with. Public Sector Experience

Catherine has extensive experience in facilitating change and developing and coaching leaders in the public, corporate and voluntary sectors. In the public sector, Catherine has worked with a number of City and County Councils and wider public sector organizations including Cambridge City, Cambridge County, Northampton County and NCH, over an eight year period delivering executive coaching to senior managers (in HR, Planning & Environment, Communications); designing and delivering eight different bespoke leadership and management development training programmes and working with teams to increase their effectiveness and cross-team working (e.g. Housing/Temp Housing; HR, Planning; Finance).

Background

Catherine is a highly experienced, qualified executive coach and has been working as a consultant, facilitator and coach since 1992. She has significant coaching & facilitation skills and a strong business minded approach.

With over ten years’ experience in line management in the corporate and voluntary sectors, including managing through a recession, Catherine appreciates the pressures and challenges that managers face in organisations today. This perspective enables her to relate to, challenge and support, people who face the prospect of initiating, managing and/or responding and managing the consequences of change.

Her focus in the past five years has been working with senior executives on leadership development, change and management development and mentoring, where she combines a pragmatic approach with an ability to develop valuable insights for organisations and people. Catherine’s experience ranges from designing, developing and delivering bespoke interventions, one-to-one, leadership and senior management development, team and group coaching, mentoring groups and facilitating large group interventions to facilitate organisational and cultural change.

As well as working with the public sector, Catherine has worked with directors and senior managers as an executive coach and consultant in the field of management development for more than 18 years with organisations across a range of industries, including Toyota GB, Diageo, Npower, BAM Nuttall, Lexus, Oracle, Fujitsu, National Grid, The UN, Shell UK, and T-Mobile. She also founded a number of companies including BlueQuay in 2005 and The Changing Space for women in business in 2009.

Her warm, encouraging and challenging approach helps people face change and uncertainty with confidence; to build their skill;, perform more effectively to deliver objectives; and to contribute fully to the situations they face. Clients who have worked with Catherine say they get both support and challenge and a focus on results and relationships that really enable them to deliver their goals.
She is a certified Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic programming, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD) she is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). Catherine is a qualified coach and has a Diploma in Corporate Coaching and is a Member of the Association for Coaching. She also has some experience in 360 degree evaluation and psychometric questionnaires.
